For over a decade, NEXTGen Detroit’s EPIC event has been the premier young adult fundraiser for the Detroit Jewish community. This year, the NEXTGen Detroit team is upping the ante with a night of “glitz, glamour and giving back.”

Brought to the community by Sue and Alan J. Kaufman and family, the 2023 EPIC Event is being held at the Treasury in Pontiac on March 4 and will feature an upscale “Monte Carlo Casino” theme with classic table games, slots, roulette and more. An expected crowd of 400 guests will sip champagne and cocktails while enjoying live entertainment, an open bar, exquisite appetizers and other surprises in The Treasury’s gorgeously gilded space with architecture dating back to the 1920s.

The 2023 EPIC Event is chaired by NEXTGen Detroit leaders Julie Bleznak, Marc Crane, Lauren Deitch, Abigail Epstein and Josh Ketai.

EPIC 2023 Teaser Video Featuring the Event Co-chairs

Beyond throwing an unforgettable event, the EPIC co-chairs are focused on the resources that will be raised to support our local and global Jewish community: “What’s amazing about EPIC is that it really appeals to such a wide range of attendees coming together to show our support for Federation’s Annual Campaign, as the donation to attend makes a significant impact here in Detroit and in Israel and around the world. We put our heart and soul into making this event a night of glitz, glamour and giving back. We are ALL IN and can’t wait for you join us.”

The event is intended for adults 21 to 39 years old. Early registration is $36/person through February 24 and general registration is $50/person beginning February 25. All EPIC guests are required to make a minimum donation of $100 to the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit’s 2023 Annual Campaign. Dietary laws will be observed.
