Federation’s New CEO, Up Close and Personal

This month, FedRadioDetroit is honored to welcome Steve Ingber, newly named Chief Executive Officer of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitain Detroit, as their first in-studio guest in 15 months. You’ll hear about his need for a job where no two days are the same and his passion for building community. Plus, the challenges in our Detroit Jewish community including anti-Semitism and a lack of civil discourse in today’s society. 

Special Perspective on the Conflict in Israel with Yiftah Leket.  

This month’s Mitzvah Maker segment is put on hold for a special conversation between Federation’s Senior Community Shaliach (Israeli emissary) Yiftah Leket and co-host Sam Dubin on last month’s conflict between Israel and Hamas. As an Israeli now living in Michigan, Yiftah details his reaction to the events happening back home, his thoughts on the impact of the conflict in Jewish Detroit, and more.
