Berman Award for extraordinary professional service to the Jewish community.
As in many cities across the country today, Detroit no longer has a “Jewish hospital.” Most fortunately, however, the legacy of Sinai Hospital is alive and well, living today through the work of The Jewish Fund.
In the beginning there was the idea, and then came the panels and two-by-fours, paintings, fabrics and toys, bright and colorful displays of all kinds to build excitement and lo and behold, there was an exhibit. Starting Sunday, October 18, 2015, "It's Your Torah to Explore."
